On the morning I tried to fire up my laptop only to find that my hard drive had crashed, I knew I was in big trouble. I had to do 6 hours of lectures and all of my PowerPoint presentations were trapped on my damaged hard drive. The clock was ticking and my classes were only four hours away. I remembered that a colleague told me about the great service they had received from Ben Brewster at Corvallis Technical. I have known Ben for a number of years and thought that if anybody could help me out of this mess, he could. I called him and explained the situation. He understood the desperate circumstances and told me that he could help even though he had another client he was working with that morning. I brought him my drive and it was not an easy fix since the model was fairly unique. He managed to find a way to get it done anyway and I had all of my lecture notes and slides in plenty of time for my classes.
While my data was being restored I learned about the data protection services that Corvallis Technical offers to prevent potential data loss like I was facing. As a health care provider I can appreciate the value of prevention and maintenance.
The cost was very affordable too, but can you really put a value on service like that? Thanks to Corvallis Technical I know who to rely on in a jam.
